Testing has been one of the most important tools of preparation since years’ and at LegalEdge we take testing at-most seriously. There are multiple type of tests that are conducted during the curriculum
1. Full Length iMocks Tests: These are 40 full-length iMocks tests in total conducted at the All India Level. For online tests like CLAT, SLAT and MH-CET, graphical analysis at the end of each test is generated that gives in-depth analysis to each student. There is section-wise analysis, time-wise analysis and toppers comparison as well. Check our All India Test Series Tab to have a look at the graphs generated.
2. iMocks: iMocks are tests conducted on the lines of CLAT and AILET but unlike the full-length iMocks tests, the syllabus in these tests is restricted to the syllabus covered in the classroom. These are offline tests and taken on a monthly basis. They cover the syllabus taught till date. iMocks cover all section with sectional time-limits allotted to every section.
3. Evaluation Tests: ETs or evaluation tests are sectional tests that are periodically conducted. These tests focus on building multiple topics of a section that have been covered in a classroom. These tests can have one or multiple sections under once test as per the need of the hour. These tests are different for different type of batches and are customised as per a batch requirement.
4. Sectional and Speed Tests: These are Online Tests, uploaded on the online platform, to be attempted in the last 4 months of the preparation. They focus on improving the sectional scores which ultimately have an impact on the overall score. Speed Tests are essentially Sectional Tests and focus on the increasing speed of a candidate.
5. Topic-Level Tests: As the name suggestions that tests focus on improving a specific topic. These are 150+ in number and are uploaded on the platform. Various topics across all sections i.e. English Language (Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary including synonyms, antonyms, one-word substitution etc. Grammar including filling-in prepositions, spotting the error, sentence corrections, idioms and phrases etc), Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Ratio-Proportion, Mixtures and Alligations, Averages, Time and Work, Time-Speed and Distance, Number Systems Probability etc), Logical Reasoning (Data arrangement, Coded-Inequalities, Directions and Blood Relations, Series, Time, Ranking, Alphabet and Number Test, Coding-Decoding, Conditional Statements, Binary Logic, Paragraph based Reasoning, Assumptions, Arguments and Course of Action etc ), General Knowledge (History, Geography, Science, Economics and Current Affairs) and Legal Aptitude (Indian Constitution, Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Indian Penal Code, Legal Terms and MaXIms etc) form a part of the Topic-level tests.
6. Current Affairs Tests: These are periodic current affairs tests that happen at least bi-monthly and focus on the recent current affairs. These Tests are followed by discussions and help a student to keep abreast with the latest current affairs. The right strategy is of utmost importance and will vary from student to student. Therefore understanding one's strategy and implementing it on the D-day is the aim of these sessions at LegalEdge.
5. Bridge Course (English Language): For students who don't come from decent english medium backgrounds are given an additional bridge course to improve their language skills. These sessions aim to bridge the gap between the skills possessed and the skills required. Topper Interaction: Alumni of LegalEdge, studying at the top colleges on the country, are at the centre motivating the students and discussing ways to prepare and improve their marks in the regular iMocks tests that are being conducted.
Academic Events are an integral part of our Academic curriculum. These events helps the student to prepare for certain topics in a different way. Performing in teams teaches them team dynamics and life skills. All academic events are followed by prize distribution and appreciation ceremonies.
1. WikiConsti: One of the most famous events of This session is WikiConsti. The event motivates kids to prepare hard on Indian Constitution. The event is divided into 3 rounds with students getting eliminated after every round. For round 2 and 3, students team up in groups of 2 and perform as a team rather than individuals.
2. Zero to Twenty: Scared of Mathematics? Hobbling around the magical figure of ‘0’ and wish to climb up to ’20’ in CLAT? Here is Zero to Twenty for you. An event on Mathematics which aims to build confidence in the ‘dreaded’ subject via additional practice.
3. GK Fiesta: Everything under the sun is GK? Is that so? Yes, theoretically. But when it comes to CLAT and AILET Test Prep, the coverage of questions limits itself to certain areas and level of difficulties. This academic event focusses on improving the Static GK (of CLAT, AILET and associated examinations) of students. The event is spread over multiple rounds via process of elimination. The last round is a team round where kids form team and compete. At the end of the event, it's not just the static GK gets evolved but the student even learns to face new challenges as a team.
4. EssentiaLE: English Language is one of the most essential subjects of CLAT, AILET and other Law Entrance Examinations. Apart from the regular classroom sessions LegalEdge believe in imparting additional Language Knowledge via other means. EssentiaLE plays the essential part here. These sessions, a total of 12 in number, are conducted on a periodic basis to evolve ones Language skills, not only for the upcoming Law Entrance Tests but for life.
5. Logicalympics: A series of tests taken during the later half of ones preparation to give more practice to the students. Part from the regular classroom session, this series of Test only aim to add additional practice of Logical Reasoning to ones routine. They say, the more you practice Logical Reasoning, the better you will be. There is no end to Logics. The more you do, the lesser are you chances of making a silly mistake. LegalEdge knows the importance of Logics more than anyone and therefore this additional series of tests prepares a study to face all the challenges on the D-day and even after.
These tests are extremely handy because since 2015, most part of the GK sections of CLAT (50Q) and AILET (35Q) has been dominated by questions from the Current Affairs domain.
Rajat Maloo (AIR 1, NLSIU Banglore)
I would like to wholeheartedly thank LegalEdge Tutorials for helping me secure A.I.R. 1 in CLAT 2017. This fantastic result would not have been possible without help from LegalEdge. The varying difficulty level and the complete coverage of course in the iMockss prepared me for any kind of paper which may come and the post-iMocks analysis tool helped me in identifying my weaknesses and work on them. Furthermore, the monthly magazine of LegalEdge - MonthLE, should be a mandatory read for anyone desirious of cracking CLAT. It covers a gamut of topics in Current Affairs and the best of it's kind magazine available in the industry. I would also like to thank the team for constant support throughout the year.
I would recommend LegalEdge to all CLAT aspirants. Thank you LegalEdge.
Himanshu Anshwani (AIR 5, NLSIU Banglore)
For me, joining LE for CLAT preparation was one of the most significant steps towards getting into the best law school in the country. When any aspirant joins a coaching institute, he seeks three fundamental things from it: competent faculty, a stimulating environment, and decent infrastructure. LE checks all these three boxes and more. The teachers' expertise in their respective subjects along with their interactive pedagogy in which active participation is encouraged, creates an intriguing environment, one in which learning is a fun process. The study material is thorough and every nook and cranny of the expected topics are covered in the classroom. Coming to the iMockss, they are thoroughly comprehensive and prepare you for any given question paper when you face the actual exam. Be it tough or moderate or easy(it's all relative :P), the iMockss test every aspect of your preparation at a given time and it's unwise to discard even a single iMocks. The function of iMockss is not to give you a predictable set of questions which you solve in 2 hours every week and score satisfactory marks in; rather, it's to test oneself, for which it'd be impractical to set a iMocks along predictable lines every time. LE's iMockss adhere to this and thus, stand apart from the other test series available. Lastly, I'd like to thank all the teachers and the administrative staff in LE for the amazing experience that I had during the course of my preparation. To the future CLAT-takers, make the best of your preparation and all the best for the CLAT
Jatin Lalwani (NLSIU, Bangalore)
LE is undoubtedly the best coaching centre for CLAT in the country. The varying combination of tough and tricky iMockss provide a complete package for the preparation of not just CLAT but any aptitude exam. The material of 50 odd booklets is more than enough for anyone to get through the exam. The faculty is the most supportive and motivating. They not only prepare you for the exam but also helps you develop your thinking to act rationally. I completely owe my success in CLAT to LE.
Kabeer Jay (NLSIU Banglore)
I was a year-long classroom programme student at LegalEdge Bhopal. Signing up to study at LegalEdge has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and in the past one year, I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. LE has certainly played a key role in my success. The study material at LE is very comprehensive and covers all the relevant topics in great depth. I never felt the need to subscribe to any iMockss or study material from any other institute, as the coverage of the material provided at LE is more than what any CLAT aspirant could ask for. The iMockss, which are the most important part of CLAT preparation, are of an optimum level of difficulty, which is higher than all other institutes. This rigorous testing and the analysis that follows it prepares you for all possible situations that you might face in the CLAT. The most important piece of advice that I would like to give to future CLAT aspirants is that they should analyse their iMockss very sincerely and thoroughly, practicing solving every single question that they are not able to solve correctly in one attempt during their iMockss. At LE, I got the best subject experts that any aspirant could ask for. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Harsh sir and Sambhav sir, who helped me in developing my legal aptitude and reasoning abilities; Karan sir and Arvind sir, who honed my logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude; Abhishek sir, who helped me with the daunting subjects of General Knowledge and Awareness and Aasim sir for helping me deal with compleXIties of the English language. I’d also like to thank Abhitesh sir, Anshul ma’am, Anuja ma’am, Raghuvendra sir and Swapnil sir with providing me with valuable knowledge in the subjects of Mathematics, English, Logical Reasoning and GK. In closing, I’d like to give thanks to the administrative staff at LE, for making it a seamless learning experience. Thank you very much, LegalEdge; and to all future Law aspirants: GOOD LUCK!
Vanshika Katiyar (NLSIU, Bangalore)
LegalEdge was a major force behind my success. Each member of the faculty is approachable and very helpful. If you are feeling down you can talk to any of them and you’ll feel motivated. The material provided for each section is good and according to the syllabus. The MonthLE helped me a lot in preparing for the current affairs. Overall LegalEdge left no stone unturned in helping the students achieve their goals.
Khushboo Agrawal (NALSAR, Hyderabad)
Choosing your career field is only half way there. You need to set your goals straight and select the people who will guide you to achieve your goals. From my personal experience at legaledge I can say that it is one of the best coaching institutes in India. It has the most competitive set of students. And as we talk about the competition, many would fear about the no. of students in the institute. I assure that despite the umpteen no. of students each and every person is given the same importance and personal attention. All the teachers motivate the students to their best. Harsh sir makes the constitution fun and easy to remember and at the same time inculcates the habit of thinking critically for the reasoning section. The logical reasoning questions given by Karan Sir are a though nut to crack but they set in motion our thinking process in a particular direction which is extremely important for the reasoning section. Also, he makes sure that you are motivated throughout your preparation period. One will certainly be dumbfounded upon seeing how many facts can a person precisely remember when you meet the fact factory Abhishek sir. He makes even the subjects like history and physics easy to remember by giving everyday examples. If you are afraid of maths, Arvind sir is the contact person as he presents the concepts in a really simplified manner and gives extensive questions for practice. Aasim sir’s classes are really helpful in grasping the concepts of english which we have been learning since our childhood but have failed to understand in depth. When all of them work as a team they can create wonders as they have been proving for the last few years.
Roshni Mulchandani (NALSAR, Hyderabad)
Having acquired a rank of 705 in CLAT 2016 and with an aim to give a shot for the top three nlu’s I started my search for the right set of people who could help me make my dream a reality. Though being sure of my decision, I was extremely wary of choosing an institute that would keep me motivated enough to hold on to such a belief and not lose my hope midway. So, I remember walking into harsh sir’s cabin where rather than selling me a false dream to imagine myself already in the top 3 law schools he told me that a previous rank of 705 would only ensure that I won’t land up in the last nlu’s but getting into the top 3 will still depend on what I make out of my gap year. And that’s exactly how the faculty of legaledge functions, it will showcase realistic goals and devise strategies to help you attain the same. And that’s why choosing LE over any other coaching institute has been by far the best decision I have made. The dynamic faculty at LE believes in devising new and innovative strategies that help in keeping the preparation in tandem with the ever-changing difficulty level of CLAT exam. All the teachers at LE time and again prove why they are not one of but ‘THE BEST’ teachers you will ever come across. Harsh sir by his emphatic teaching methodology will ensure that constitutional law and critical reasoning become your forte. Karan sir will not only help you in cracking complex puzzles but will also mentor you to solve complex life problems that you might face throughout the bumpy journey of preparation. Arvind sir always comes up with fascinating tricks and strategies that will ensure that you see your scores keep escalating with every iMocks. Aasim sir makes English the most fun subject by teaching through videos, quizzes etc. Abhishek sir through his insurmountable knowledge leaves you spellbound. He knows exactly how a student’s mind perceive things and incorporates the same in his method of teaching GK which is the most vast subject of CLAT preparation. LE has it all be it the amazing faculty, infrastructure, thoroughly designed modules or the iMockss tests that come with comprehensive solutions. It is the melange of such a powerful team of individuals that gives LE the real EDGE over any other coaching institutes across the nation.

3. Evaluation Tests: ETs or evaluation tests are sectional tests that are periodically conducted. These tests focus on building multiple topics of a section that have been covered in a classroom. These tests can have one or multiple sections Under one test as per the need of the hour. These tests are different for different type of batches and are customised as per batch requirement.
5. Topic-Level Tests: As the name suggests that test focuses on improving a specific topic.
These tests are extremely handy because since 2015, most part of the GK sections of CLAT (50Q) and AILET (35Q) has been dominated by questions from the Current Affairs domain.

It covers a gamut of topics in Current Affairs and the best of its kind magazine available in the industry. I would also like to thank the team for constant support throughout the year.
I would recommend LegalEdge to all CLAT aspirants. Thank you LegalEdge.
